May I come in?
There always going to be a moment in your life where time is going to stop for you. As Albert Einstein has said "Time is relative".
There are some questions that, when asked can confuse you to your very core. And the moment when you have to be sure you will be confused like hell.
Right after I explained her everything about the topic that she was having confusion with, I started to walk out, she asked if I would be free in the next lecture.
Hesitating, as I already had a big crush on her I said with fumbling voice, “Yeah! Sure” .
Just before the bell rung, she knocked the door of the class room and asked the professor, “May I come in?”
And as soon as she said that, she gave a look to me, as if she was asking me the same question to walk into that room of my heart which has been closed since forever.
Sometimes it takes a fraction of a second for you to answer that question and sometimes even a lifetime seems less. That's the thing happening to me. Even after knowing all the answers, things in my head were forcing me not to answer or to just wait before I answer anything.
The time was still, for me it was stuck in that very moment, the place where she was looking at me and I can actually look into those eyes.
And the question, which was actually meant for the professor to answer, was answered by me with a simple "Yes, Please".
