Paper Cut
We get to the part of the
book which is quite painful to read and even painful to remember. The things
that are lost in that page of the book that we rarely read. But today, out of
curiosity, I just want to re-read the lost story, which is still in my
head, which stays the way it is.
The part where someone
dies, someone betrays, someone cheats, the part where the story takes a steep
turn, that part of that story exists on that page. Turning the
pages to reach, and I realize there is a paper cut on my finger.
I looked, it was the same
pain. The same that I have felt before when I was on that page a long time
ago. Then I read that line “Pain demands to be felt”.
It’s funny just how a
simple Paper cut can teach you so many things.
Life teaches you exactly the way a notorious kid is taught by a strict
teacher. A little lesson with a lot of scolding.
We often learn from our
mistakes and if we fail to learn we walk back to the same page of our life
again and again until the very end, when that page gives us
a paper cut. The paper cut of life cannot be seen it can only be felt
inside you. Here it bleeds slowly, the moment you decide to share, it
heals.
We keep that book back in
the shelf now, because we are familiar with the whole story, the
story that we may not need to read again. The story, that may be
beautiful, but now it belongs somewhere else.
A paper cut, is a simple
way for you to understand, how this little wound on your finger can
open that door of your life, from which you have been seeing the world through
a key hole.
A complete picture
is right in front of you.
