Purpose | Who are we and What are we here for?
Our life has been divided into different chapter of a big story, and each chapter teaches us a big lesson. Each chapter of this story tells us what life is all about and what's our role in all of this.
The most important question this story makes us ask ourselves is “Who am I?” and “What am I here for?”
There often comes a certain question in all of our minds, that why are we here? What is our purpose? And what difference does our existence makes on this world?
Of course, all these questions serve the same purpose that is, to find out your purpose in life.
You see all the questions that we ask ourselves, we expect someone else to answer them, but when we actually listen to those answers there is a voice in our head that says, “Not good Enough”. This is what you need to understand that no one can ever show you the complete picture on the wall until and unless you want to see it.
We all are here together, standing in the middle of the crowd finding our places. But only thing we focus on here is that we are alone. We are alone because the answer that we are looking for is somewhere in the crowd itself.
The stories that we hear as a child, where the lead characters of the story already know their purpose in their life, is a lie. The thing is that you never read the story from their perspective.
Take for instance Harry Potter.
It has always been us who knew it from the very start what his purpose was, and eventually it took almost 7 years for him to understand that.
Similarly, we can’t find the answers of the questions right when we ask it. It takes some time. Your purpose in this life can only be understood by you.
The path to greatness takes a longer time than usual. It is similar to the fact, that you actually have to try everything until and unless you realise what you are actually good at. That is exactly how life works.
The story we are in, the path that we are on right now, and even the path we are going to come across in future. Everything is definitely going to work out perfectly. Because we are the heroes of our stories.
We might not know our purpose in life right now, but we will, may be not soon, it will take time and it will be worth it. To find out all the secrets, we actually have to do some investigation. Imagine yourself as a baby who is on a pursuit of finding out how to actually pronounce “floccinaucinihilipilification”.
You cannot just jump to the very end to learn the correct pronunciation of that word. You need to learn how to speak first, and then learn the whole language.
And when the day comes, you will realize it has never really been that difficult, and it’s meaning is much simpler than the word itself.
So, that’s how it works. May be the path to understand your purpose in life is difficult, but you will understand it eventually. You are going to realise that, it is the simplest thing to understand, and after that you will never forget it till the end of the story.
We all are going to understand our purpose in our life, because that is what we are here for. To find out who we are and what we are meant to be.
