Why are we different? | What difference our differences make?

Difference
The place we live is almost identical to everyone, but everyone who lives here looks at it
differently. The say flower may seem a little
ugly and the most beautiful things to
different set of eyes. Our opinions
and our perspective make us differ
from each other.
Our language is
different, our skin is different our
thoughts are different our tastes are different. And that’s okay,
we live in a world of uniqueness,
where we all live differently, we
make choices differently. We show happiness differently, we love differently.
That is what makes us unique.
Surprisingly we all are a part of the same story we are in.
And the thing is that we don’t realize it yet.
The world is always a different place for each pair of eyes on
this planet. For some it is a carnival
of happiness, a fare of hopes or a journey of guilt.
It all depends on how you look at it.
The way people treat themselves is directly related to how they look at the world around them.
The point at which you start looking
at the world with a different angle,
the word becomes a better place for you. All you need to have is a little different perspective.
The broken window often represents
the sadness in the atmosphere, for
some eyes of course, or for some eyes people look at the playground right in front of that house where kids are playing, suddenly our perspective changes and somehow the
same place becomes the atmosphere of
joy.
Imagine yourself walking down the
street and you look at a person walking
right across you. What is the first thing that comes in your mind when you
look at him? Unknowing our mind plays a
little trick with us where we create a perception of a situation or a person
and works accordingly. Somehow, we never look at the picture that is forming,
all we care about is what we think is forming, and that is what destroys the
thing that is yet to be build.
The perception that we create about
the situation directly or indirectly affects the way we handle that situation.
Because long before that situation is solved, we have already made an
understanding that may be this is how it needs to be done.
Imagine being in a place where
everyone is same and you are sitting on a bench on a street, and noticing
people around you, looking at their similarities, their culture, their accent,
their language, their stories, their journeys. Till then everything will seem a
lot normal, but soon you are going to find everything is a little weird, when
you will notice that everybody’s tastes are same, their thinking are same.
Their way of judging people is same, and soon it will start to annoy you.
And then you will understand that
why it is necessary to be different, why is this beautiful to be different, why
you feel so unique when you are in a crowd surrounded by people. Because your
differences are the ones that make you unique. What makes you special.
And the punchline would be, try to look at your skin a
little differently, your flaws a little differently, you smile a little
differently, because we are living in a homogenous world with heterogenous set
of eyes, we all may fit perfectly in this puzzle of life, but we all are
different, we all are unique. No other piece of this puzzle can take our place.
Neither can we.
